An Italian-based marine engine company, Carniti began importing diesel outboard engines to the United States in 1981. Featuring small horsepower output, the outboards sold by Carniti were ideal on dinghies and as well as other small boats. Pennsylvania Development Company imported Carniti diesel marine outboards.
